The NRL has partnered with LetsPlay.Live (LPL) to deliver the League Royale featuring Fortnite at the 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership grand final.
After a successful qualifier weekend with over 1000 ANZ gamers competing for the chance to qualify, five of ANZ’s top Fortnite players won the chance to fly to Sydney for an all-expenses paid trip to play live on-site at ANZ Stadium precinct. They will compete alongside NRL stars Ryan James, Benji Marshall and Josh Mansour, leading Australasian streaming talent, and 80 other ANZ players online for the title of League Royale Champion and a share of over $18,000 AUD worth of prizes.
Our official schedule has been released ahead of Sunday’s event. Highlights include interviews with streaming talent, NRL players showcasing their Fortnite skills, and the penultimate Grand Final live show kicking off just after 5pm.
Sydney attendees are welcome to watch the League Royale featuring Fortnite in-person from LPL’s activation site outside of the ANZ Stadium on Sunday October 6th and see what ANZ esports has to offer. Those unable to attend on the day can catch the live stream starting Midday AEDT / 2pm NZDT on twitch.tv/letsplaylive
