Welcome to LPL’s casual play guide for May-July 2020!

Across the LPL platform, we operate a range of core esports titles, leagues and tournaments. Typically our leagues follow a season by season structure, 3 seasons per calendar year, with divisions that qualify up and down through relegations. You can find more information about league play in the current season here.

We do, however, understand that committing to an 8-10 week league might not be suitable for a number of players. A lot of folks are looking for a casual week-by-week or month-by-month tournament to participate in with their friends on a casual basis. This is why we have the LPL Weeklies and Monthlies across a variety of titles! Keep on reading to find out more. 

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Open 5v5 ANZ Cups

CoD:MW 5v5 on LPL consists of alternating free and paid (LPL Premium required) fortnightly tournaments, held on Sundays at 2PM AEDT! What’s more exciting is that the ANZ Cups are cross-play, meaning that you can play whether you’re on a PC, Xbox One or PS4.

Clash Royale Open 3v3 Monthlies and 1v1 Weeklies

Players have 2 options for casual Clash Royale play on the LPL platform – 1v1 weeklies and/or 3v3 monthlies. 

In the Open 3v3 monthly tournaments teams have a shot at winning $300AUD every 4 weeks. Teams engage in 3 weeks of play and 1 week of Finals (top eight teams). 3v3 is free to join and runs an Elo based ladder. 

In the Open 1v1 weekly tournaments players have a shot at winning $60AUD per week. These casual tournaments are free to join and run as a double-elimination bracket with best of five matches.

Rainbow Six Siege Open PC and Console

In our R6 Open PC weekly tournaments, teams have the chance to win a $150AUD prize pool each week! Played every Tuesday evening, this tournament is free to join and runs a single-elimination bracket with best of 1 matches. Players may join this ladder at any time throughout the season.

For console players, we run alternating free and paid (LPL Premium required) fortnightly tournaments, held on Saturday's 1 PM AEDT for both XBOX and PS4 players.
