In partnership with NZ Esports (formerly New Zealand Esports Federation), LetsPlay.Live (LPL) are proud to announce the NZ Esports E Blacks Qualifiers 2022: Road to Monaco - the official international pathway to the Monaco Sim Racing World Cup 2022.
Sim racers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand are invited to submit their fastest lap time, to represent the country in the esports title Assetto Corsa. SRWC 2022 Monaco - the inaugural international sim racing event - will host the world’s best sim drivers and pro drivers live from Monaco in Europe.
The Top 2 racers from the NZ Esports E Blacks Qualifiers 2022: Road to Monaco will become E Blacks, moving on to Stage 2 of the competition to race for a spot as the Oceania continent representative in the Continental Qualifiers against Australia. The Oceania representative will then be invited to compete in the Grand Final race live from Monaco, alongside 11 other racers from around the world, with flights and accommodation provided.
Players must record footage of their gameplay racing a full lap and show game settings in a single take/uncut recording and submit recordings through this form (link). A maximum of two submissions will be allowed per racer. Submissions will be open from announcement until Tuesday 12 July 11:59PM NZST. Competitors must be over the age of 18 years old at the time of registration, citizens of New Zealand and hold a valid New Zealand passport.
