Tainted Minds adds two members to CS: GO team

One of Australia’s leading eSports organisations, Tainted Minds, has bolstered their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad with the addition of Christopher ‘dexter’ Nong as a player and Fergus ‘ferg’ Stephenson as their coach.

Tainted Minds had been looking for a solid fifth player to add to their team for most of February and have finally found it in the return of dexter. Dexter just recently competed in season four of the North American division of the ESL Pro League with another all-Australian lineup — Winterfox. The departure of Travis ‘wizard’ Richardson earlier in February led to the vacancy.

Winterfox finished in 10th place with a 9-17 record and elected to try Razmik ‘RaZ’ Bastadjan with the team over dexter. Dexter was also the captain and former in-game leader of the Chiefs.

Bringing over a decade of competitive Counter-Strike experience and international competitions to the team, Ferg will now take over duties as head coach.

Ferg previously lived in France before returning to Australia, playing with the likes of David ‘Xp3’ Garrido, Steeve ‘Ozstrik3r’ Flavigni, and Marc ‘bisou’ Naoum. He was an exceptional CS 1.6 player, playing for both Immunity in Australia and Against All Authority with Xp3 in France. Ferg has also represented STREAMLINE, Exile5 and Athletico.

Tainted Minds are currently competing in the ESEA AU Premier division, where they are placed second right behind Chiefs, and will also be on show in March during the Zen Esports Network League tournament.

The current Tainted Minds roster now looks like this:
