It might be winter but things are starting to heat up in CGPL. Grouhound, Chiefs, Legacy and SYF are all close to securing a spot at AVCON for the offline finals.
Avant gaming is is currently sitting one game out of the top 4 and wont go down easy. This week more will unfold as teams start locking in their finals hopes.
Monday 7pm ex DarkSided now known as Rise and Grind take on the 4th place SYF Gaming. Rise and grind are not out of the running, but need to secure every match and need both Avant and SYF to not win any more matches. More than a tough ask and seems unlikely.
Monday 9pm 3rd plays 2nd in whats expected to be a blockbuster match up. Chiefs ESC take On Legacy both 7/3. Chiefs have been up and down this season whilst Legacy have been a strong consistantant team even splitting with Grayhound in week one.
Tuesday 7pm Avant taking on Ground Zero should give Avant enough wins to push the top 4 against Ground Zero. Ground Zero showing little improvement since last season currently sitting on 1 win and 8 losses. They cant make the finals themselves, but they will no doubt be trying to make upsets where they can.
Tuesday 9pm 1st VS 8th, Grayhound VS Taboo. Taboos season is over and Grayhound might just look to use this match as a training ground.
