Night Squad Returns with Season 2!
We are stoked to announce the return of our weekly gaming live show, the Night Squad!
The Night Squad first aired in June this year, and ran for an 8 week first season. Aimed at showcasing the gaming prowess of the countries top celebrity personalities, the show was a hit and will be coming back for a second round beginning Wednesday September 5th at 7pm.
Each week sports stars, comedians, musicians and TV personalities “squad up” in the widely popular Fortnite video game. The show is hosted by our very own Amy Potter, who says the first season was a hit. “We saw thousands tuning in each week to see the latest squad take on Fortnite, and to win some awesome prizes. I’m incredibly excited to build on the foundation we’ve laid and take season two to new heights!” Amy is a seasoned game reviewer, host and content creator in the gaming industry and has livestreamed and created gaming centric video for many years.
Season two kicks off next week with special guests Michel “Bloody Samoan” Mulipola, comic book artist for WWE, and Daz and Ast from Flava’s afternoon show ‘Drive with Daz and Ast’.
You will be able to tune in once again each Wednesday night via Twitch.tv, as a new set of celebrity guests will squad up each week! Join in the live chat for interaction directly with the Night Squad team, audience questions, giveaways, and more.
Continuing partnerships from the previous season, Night Squad will once again be giving viewers the opportunity to win a DualShock 4 controller and a Playstation Plus subscription every week thanks to PlayStation NZ.
