I've been using the slightly older Zowie FK14 for a while now, its been running smoothly however recently noticed that I'm getting movement issues when I flick extremely fast, the cursor/crosshair just flicks all over the place, generally upwards on a fast horizontal flick.

I'm not sure if I need to upgrade my mouse of maybe play with my settings which are;
5/11 Windows, Raw Input, 1.08 ingame, 450dpi.

Probably doesn't help that you're playing on such a low sensitivity :o, mice typically struggle with extreme DPIs, low or high.

Why are you running such low dpi in the first place? Just out of curiosity.

Sensors will degrade over time - also the FK14 does not have a 250DPI step, lowest is 450DPI.

Depending on your mouse pad whether its colored or not - some mousepads are more difficult to track on, in-line with sensor degradation there's a possibility that's what you're seeing here.

Clean your mousepad and sensor and see how you go - black/white will generally give the best tracking.

Yea sorry 450dpi, and a QCK+ no print.
Maybe I should try upping the dpi and dropping in-game, ill just have a play with it I suppose.

There may be some build up inside it. Happened to my last one. I thought sensor was dying but it was just built up with gunk from my lil brothers eating on my fucking mouse pad.

fk14 has a low malfunction speed

Quote from wld on the 16th of December 2015

That is consistent with the problem, but I would have thought it would be higher malfunction speed seeing as zowie mice generally have a malfunction speed of higher than 3m/s.

I don't get why they would reduce this when they know it's so important.
