Anti-Cheat, Rule Changes, New FFYI System, FE League

Evening everyone,

This thread is going to outline all new changes that will be in place for next season.

It is EXTREMELY important that you read all of this as it could affect you!

MOSS Anti-Cheat

Will be used for all CS:GO matches in the near future. This includes all Open, Amateur, Evolution, Challenger and Female matches.

If flagged, first ensure you have downloaded MOSS directly from https://nohope.eu/ , if the program still gets flagged then you will have to suspend your anti-virus proactive scanning or add the flagged files to the exceptions. Please ensure you re-activate it after your match is complete.

Reminder you MUST run MOSS for all CS:GO matches, failure to do so will result in an immediate forfeit. It is to the players responsibility to ensure that MOSS is installed and running in ample time of match to be played. Contact an admin if you need any help.

We will be extremely strict on this, please make sure you use the anti-cheat and upload the folder after every game.

MOSS Anti-Cheat Installation and Setup

1. Download MOSS from https://nohope.eu/.

2. Extract MOSS from the RAR folder and place it where you would like.
3. Open MOSS, once opened click on "File" then "Parameters" and select "Counter Strike Global Offensive"
4. Click on "Capture" and "Start"
5. Launch the game and once you have finished your match click "Stop"
6. *VERY IMPORTANT* MOSS will create a rar folder with information we need. You will need to upload that folder to the match page of your game. If for some reason yoou are unable to upload it via the website please upload it to google drive and post the link on the match page.

IF ONE PLAYERS DOES NOT UPLOAD THEIR PERSONAL FOLDER, YOUR TEAM WILL RECEIVE A FORFEIT. DO NOT FORGET THIS!

LPL Premium

Over the last season, we have been extremely lenient in regards to premium for league matches due to admins giving the benefit of the doubt to all players. However, in future seasons all participants who join a match server without premium will have there team instantly disqualified. It is the opposing teams obligation to bring any rule breaches to the admins attention as our admin staff cannot check every match.

Rule breaching

In the past we have occasionally changed the rules for specific teams due to unfortunate circumstances / emergencies. This upcoming season we will be extremely strict on our rules and will be enforcing them. Please go back and read the rules as some may have changed.

Map pool change

As Im sure you are all aware Cache has been removed from the active duty pool and been replaced with Vertigo. This has already come into effect for Open and will be the same for the FFYI's and the season.

-------------------------------
Cache * Removed
-------------------------------
Vertigo * Added
Inferno
Nuke
Mirage
Train
Overpass
Dust 2

The new Inject System for the upcoming FFYI

If you would like to sign up as an inject team, the link is here: https://www.cybergamer.com/games/csgo/relegationapp/

Within previous seasons you have seen us make room for Inject teams within the FFYI's, we will no longer be doing this.
We will be using a strict system that will only see a few inject teams make it through. We are doing this to help promote team longevity.

Inject teams will only be pushed into a FFYI if a team already in one has died, they will still need to meet the requirements of the division. If no teams meet the requirements then a team from below will be brought up.

This may sound very confusing so feel free to comment below or message the admin team.

Below is an example of the new system

Fake PRO FFYI

1. #5 PRO
2. #6 PRO
3. #7 PRO
4. #8 PRO
5. #1 Chal
6. #2 Chal
7. #3 Chal
8. #4 Chal

This FFYI would see no Inject teams as none have died.

1. #5 PRO
2. #6 PRO
3. #7 PRO
4. DEAD TEAM (To be replaced with an Inject)
5. #1 Chal
6. #2 Chal
7. #3 Chal
8. #4 Chal

This FFYI would see 1 Inject team make it through.

Why are teams who finish top 4 in each division minus pro division not automatically moved up? The FFYI system works but it is also flawed. People who finish in good placements the previous season should automatically be placed in the next available division. The bottom 4 of the higher div should be the fighting for their placement to stay or be sent back down. Like 90% of other leagues.

The main reason I am bringing this up is that some teams get an easier seeding and others get a harder seeding. Making it practically unfair especially with what was done last season in having a BO1 to qualify for CGE.

For example.
LPL PRO:
1. Avant Gaming
2. Ground Zero
3. Breakaway
4. Athletico
5. 1st challenger previous season
6. 2nd challenger previous season
7. 1st CGP Fight to keep your spot
8. 2nd CGP Fight to keep your spot
Challenger:
1. 3rd CGP Fight to keep your spot
2. 4th CGP Fight to keep your spot
3. 3rd-4th challenger
4. 5th-6th challenger
5. 1st Evolution previous season
6. 2nd Evolution previous season
7. 1st Evolution Fight to keep your spot
8. 2nd Evolution Fight to keep your spot
Evolution:
1. 3rd Evolution Fight to keep your spot
2. 4th Evolution Fight to keep your spot
3. 5th-8th evolution
4. 5th-8th evolution
5. 5th-8th evolution
6. evolution
7. evolution
8. evolution
9. 1st-4th Amateur
10. 1st-4th Amateur
11. 1st-4th Amateur
12. 1st-4th Amateur
13. 1st-4th Evolution Fight to keep your spot
14. 1st-4th Evolution Fight to keep your spot
15. 1st-4th Evolution Fight to keep your spot
16. 1st-4th Evolution Fight to keep your spot

I think this makes about 100x more sense in a league and is fairer. Not to mention it makes sure people are trying their god damn hardest to maintain their spot or advance.

Anyway, I know this won't change I am happy about the AC.

Can I ask one question that I have been asking for 100 years? Why are teams who finish top 4 in each division minus pro not able to automatically be moved up? The FFYI system works but it is also flawed. People who finish in good placements the previous season should automatically be placed in the next available division. The main reason I am bringing this up is that some teams get an easier seeding and others get a harder seeding. Hey @Spitroast_
The point of the relegations is to ensure the best make it the higher divisions. Due to those teams in Challenger having been in there showed that they were better than the Evolution teams. So from top down, you have an almost accurate list of team skills from 1st to 24th from Challenger to Evolution. But during a season things change and the teams in Challenger may not be as good as teams from Evolution, but then again they might still be better. Having auto promotions could end up with the bottom 4 teams in Challenger who are clearly better than the top 4 of Evolution, going down a division despite there still being a large skill gap.
So we hold the FFYI/Relegation matches to decide who is the best 4 out of the 8 right now.

Regarding the seeding, it is seeded simple. The 5th placing in Challenger verses the 4th placing in Evolution. The 6th placing in Challenger verses the 3rd placing in Evolution. And so it goes so the worst team has to verse the best team as is standard.

I don't believe that for a second because I know that the skill gap isn't that large and it is only 4 teams not mention you can have a whole extra season instead of FFYI. i.e 4 seasons in 1 year vs 3 seasons plus ffyi's.

It remains for CGP the top 2 of the four bottom teams would remain the bottom 2 would need to prove again by playing the lower division and win if they are able. The fact the chance is snatched because of a lousy FFYI is not a good implementation. It should be a rotating wheel. This just simply increases the process for the team who should advance.
