Smashed back and chest just then, not a bad work out, similar to what I do anyway

no hate, but you could count 1000 + 1000 on your fingers- there's just more efficient ways

It's not "one of the worst splits" its just very unconventional. There is alot of exercises which is good and the rep range is fairly high but it is missing some exercises to hit the different parts of the muscle being trained. i.e different heads of tricep, parts of delts and bicep etc

I actually did something similar last week just to have a break from the conventional back/bis, chest tris etc Where I split lower back and upper back into two different days, did legs with dead lifts etc and it felt great....

Its not bad just different, if it works for you then keep using it.. That simple brah.

dont use a smith machine ... grow some balls and ask someone around you for a spot. No one is going to say no as long as you don't ask right before a set of theirs. tuck and roll if you get pinned otherwise

48 sets on shoulders and arms? is this fucking real life? LOL

I train for strength, to continue to steamroll cunts in footy.

48 sets on arms does not equal strength.

Holy shit dude, how long do you stay in the gym for on Arms day? What weight are you doing that you can do that many sets of curls????

That much arm exercise is ridiculous, it simply isnt needed.

EDIT: Wait a sec, you're smith benching only? So you went from a 55kg smith bench to 90kg?

I do weights that go up, 1 warm up set, 2 working sets and 1 set at my heaviest.
Doing 4exercises 8-10 is building muscle, so I dont know what book you all fucking read but read most article or websites and will tell you the same thing.

& No only one day a week is on the Smith Bench
My normal flat bench is 90kg.

Strength is 6-8 reps terror hence im not going for strength my body type just allows me to grow strength quickly.

Strength is lower reps than 6-8 mate.

Yeah of course you do warm up sets, dont include those in your routine tallys.

KK nice.

hypertrophy comes from progressive tension overload. if you spend the same time under tension- say 8 sets of 4 reps vs 4 sets of 8 reps then 8x4 is equal if not better due to more weight. if you're getting stronger, you're getting bigger- if you're eating a calorie surplus

If someone did 8 sets of 4 reps, why did they bother coming to the gym, seriously I only go to 10 because if I get to 8 easier then expected, I like to push myself, no point going to the gym if you ain't prepared to wake up sore in the morning.
