: Only Oceanic & North American residents are eligible for the first place prize!
What format will this tournament be played in?
-All DTO weekly tournaments will be played in a double elimination bracket (so, you can 'lose' one game, but won't be immediately knocked out of the tournament).
-Any solo player can sign up & play in this tournament - no teams are allowed.
-The amount of players signed up will determine the amount of players in each round.
-Each round will have a minimum of 5 players in it, and a maximum of 10.
-The top X players (usually 2, but dependant on round size & upper or lower bracket match) in a round will proceed in their bracket, with the rest of the players in that round being awarded a loss, and either moving to the losers bracket, or, if they're already in the losers bracket, being knocked out of the tournament.
What are the rules for this tournament?
Our full competitive ruleset can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1h1i_JYd2_HBMj3KPeBlH14r5qVQLWnNFeO3EocswpVo/edit?usp=sharing
- the main things to remember are: no teams, no intentional exploitation of known bugs, and of course, no cheating. As we are still experimenting with various rules whilst in an early stage of development, some changes will probably be made to these rules throughout development.
I don't own Down To One yet - can I still play?
Whilst we're still in Early Access, we are looking for experienced competitive FPS players to provide us with feedback on the competitive format, in-game improvements, and more. If you are an experienced competitive player with recent CG game activity, and are willing to compete in this tournament & provide detailed feedback, send me a CG PM.
Will this tournament be streamed?
Yes! Matches will be streamed on the official Down To One Twitch channel
. VODs can be found on our Youtube channel here
