TMC COD Free Qualifier #1

The Melbourne Collective cant wait to run our first ever event, A free qualifier rewarding points towards Season 1 of our Pro League.
Tournament Information:
Date: Sunday 5th June
Time: 1pm
Format: 4v4 Variant Single Elimination

This qualifier will award points to players towards our Pro League, the point distribution can be seen below;
1st 150 points per player
2nd 100 points per player
3rd/4th 50 points per player
5th to 8th 25 points per player
9th to 16th 15 points per player

TMC COD:Black Ops 3 Pro League Season 1 Information

The Melbourne Collective are very excited to be releasing the main chunk of information about our debut season for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Pro League. In this thread we will explore the format of the event, schedule, how to qualify, the stream production and possible prize pool.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The Pro League will consist sixteen teams seeded into the first group stage which will be played in a GSL format* on a designated night with all group games streamed. The sixteen teams will be cut down to eight teams who will be seeded into another GSL format group stage with designated stream nights. Then the TMC Pro League will have four teams who will fight it out in a single elimination play offs bracket. All these stages will be completed online on Playstation 4 with absolutely no age restrictions, anyone can play.
* GSL format is the format used in GSL, CSGO Majors etc. Two matches followed by losers match, winners match and a deciding match.

HOW TO QUALIFY
The sixteen teams who qualify for the TMC Pro League Season 1 are decided through five qualifiers spread out in the month of June. These will include two free to play qualifiers and three pay to play qualifiers. Points will be awarded to players based off the placement of their teams qualifier performance.

Bonus Points
At TMC were encouraging team stability, therefore if your roster remains unchanged between qualifiers each player will be rewarded with a bonus 10 points regardless of placement.

The group stages of the TMC Pro League will be played out throughout June with the finals play offs taking place in August.

PRIZE POOL
The prize pool will include $30 from every registration from teams for the pay to play qualifiers. Therefore if the average team registrations stands at 32 that means the prize pool will be $2880. The more teams that sign up the bigger the prize pool becomes!
