Match Auto-Complete

Matches in the 1v1 CGo and the 1v1 CG-Live ladders now auto complete once both teams enter scores. All teams on both ladders have been notified of the changes.

This requires BOTH teams to enter the scores, so make sure to double check the result before you push submit. Once both teams have entered the scores, the match will complete and make the necessary rank adjustments and status changes. You will then be able to re-issue a new challenge.

Remember if you intend on playing several games in one session on CG-Live, you can only accept a time 12+hrs away. If both teams agree on an earlier time, then you need to contact an admin to alter your match time to bring it forward.

Thanks to Asterix for sorting this out

CGo Ladder Challenge Timeslots

Please use the match page to chat with your opponent and negotiate a time that you are both available. The Cybergamer match system is there to assist you in negotiating a time to play with your opponent. Its not "our way, or the highway".

When you negotiate a time, please let a ladder admin know so that we can change it manually to reflect the times accurately. If you can't come to an agreement, we can always erase the match and you can challenge someone else.

Quote from mf-

Just to expand on what mf- has said, this is only for when players on both teams agree on a time change or a cancellation. If you cant make the agreed upon time and your opponent does not wish to reschedule then you forfeit, it is that simple; that's how the ladder works. Follow the examples below for clarification:

Scenario 1
Player 1 (p1) challenges Player 2 (p2) at w,x,y,z times
p2 is unable to play any of those times, then:
a) p2 declines challenge and forfeits -OR-
b)p2 picks w because its the time they might make, and if they don't show they forfeit, -OR-
c) the 48hrs to accept expires and p2 forfeits

Scenario 2
p1 challenges p2 at w,x,y,z times
p2 chooses z
one of the players ask to reschedule in match chat, the other agrees, then:
a) both players agree on a new time in match chat and contact an admin with a support ticket or pm so the time can be locked in -OR-
b) IF a new time cannot be agreed on, the match can be canceled if both players agree -OR-
c) IF a new time cannot be agreed on and either player does not wish to cancel then the player who cant make the original time accepted forfeits.

Scenario 3
p1 challenges p2 at w,x,y,z times
p2 chooses z
either player ask to reschedule, other does NOT agrees, then:
player who cannot make the original time forfeits.

You opponent is NOT required to reschedule at your request, and nor is it viewed unsportsmanlike to to decline. Some people will happily reschedule because they have free time, some people won't want to because they schedule other things around knowing they have a game at X time on Thursday. If you cant get a rescheduled time when u want it, that is unfortunate but you are expected move on and not show any ill feelings.
