[spoiler=Interview]
Wei, Please introduce yourself and tell me what sparked your passion in League of Legends
I am Wei-Ning "Weitoostrong" Yong, I started playing League of Legends about a year and a half ago at the release of Diana. I enjoyed playing the game and the strategic aspects of the game with regards to team comps. My passion for League of Legends comes from being a competitive Magic the Gathering player, I have always wanted to be competitive at whatever games I play.
You're coming on board with fray`LoL as the team manager and coach, What potential do you see in Frenetic Array, why us?
I think Frenetic Array has a lot of individual potential as the players are all very strong, as with all Oceanic teams, there was a lack of support staff which I feel made the players have concerns that weren't part of the game itself, and such working with a coach and manager allows them to focus on the game. I chose Frenetic Array because I felt that after their ACL Melbourne performance that they were hungry for improvement and would positively respond to all initiatives that I implemented. I think over the next year, Frenetic Array will continuously improve as each player is growing at a remarkable rate with so much growth still to come.
We've seen massive growth in the League of Legends scene in Australia lately, how do you see OCE LoL in the next year or two progressing sustainably with this growth?
In the next year, I think with the recent announcements of teams like Mindfreak and Little Wraith that the scene will continue to grow at this very rapid pace due to the amount of challenger players and Diamond 1 players who are looking to enter the competitive scene. I hope that there will be more tournaments over the next year as it will mean there is more financial motivation for teams to practice together.
Any acknowledgements or shout-outs you'd like to give?
I would love to shout out @
