To be honest I have no idea where this 'bullying' angle has come from, and since I'm the only one sober enough to comment atm I'm gonna address it while the events are still fresh in my mind.
1. Not Tham, I or anyone on our team at any point made a remark that could possibly be considered an insult. No one was targeted, no one was put down or called a name, none of our comments referenced anyone's skill level, appearance, personality, etc. We were being very loud and very childish, but this is typical of a LAN environment. We were yeeting left and right, we were yelling, but we were not making personal attacks at any point. Banter is not bullying, banter is part of the esport.
2. Being very loud and childish is typical of a LAN environment. Some venues step in to make sure people aren't yelling too much, that didn't happen in this case - though to be fair we were being too loud and they probably shouldve. Hype, yelling, laughing and having a good time comming is half the fun of a csgo event. Perhaps you need to attend more lans to get better understanding of whats normal in a competition of this type.
3. Spitroast is a mature aged family man. He does not need to be defended from bullies. He needs to be able to control his emotions - he literally threatened to kill a CG admin after getting frustrated about our disrespectful behaviour. Again, disrespect is not bullying, it is an expected part of lan environments.
In no possible situation could yelling and banting in a non-malicious way ever justify leaving your seat, coming up behind your opponents and threatening to snap someones neck at a csgo competition. If you want a team to be quiet, and ease off on the yelling, fucking ask them. If that doesnt work, approach the venue staff. DONT CHARGE THEM AND SAY YOU'LL SNAP THEIR FUCKING NECKS.
Yelling and being obnoxious at LAN is a part of the fucking game. Tham is a csgo player and admin, not some symbol of peace and unity. How sensitive and unstable do you have to be to go straight to assaulting an opponent when you get sick of their (ironic) autstic screeching. Get a fucking grip.
