Date:
Tournament dates are 16/17/18th of February

Entry Fee:
$25 paid through paypal paid at least 2 days before the tournament.

Prize Pool:
The prizes are going to be distributed as it follows:
1st place - $250
2nd place - $150
3rd place - $50

Servers:
Due to our partnership with OCSAL, there will be 4 servers up and ready for use for the 4 days.

Event Details:
The event is going to be held over the course of 3 days. Friday (16th), Saturday (17th) and Sunday (18th)
Round Differentials is extremely crucial regarding this tournament (learn why below)
It is going to be in swiss mode, meaning teams with the same score record will verse one another (1-0 vs 1-0, 0-1 vs 0-1 and etc.) During the swiss mode 12 teams will go through.
After the swiss mode is complete, there will be 3 groups with 4 teams in each, 8 teams from there will go through to playoffs
Playoffs will be as follows
BO1 Quarterfinals
BO3 Semifinals
BO3 Grand Final
BO3 3rd place decider match
Times:
The matches will be on a challenge bracket so you can know when you're next match is (the organiser will also send you a message to let you know when your next match is going to be.)

How the Tournament will run:
The tournament will start with the first 3 Swiss Rounds being played on the 16th of February with 4 games happening at the same time, starting at 3:40 PM Sydney.
After the completion of the first 3 rounds, the 3 teams with a record of 3-0 will go straight through to the group stages, and 3 teams with a record of 0-3 will be eliminated. However, the team with a 2-1 record and the best round differential will also be straight to the group stages. Similarly on the opposing hand, the team with a 1-2 record and the worst round differential will be eliminated.
Proceeding on to Day 2, Rounds 4 + 5 of the Swiss, will determine the 4 teams that go through as 3-1 record, the 4 teams that go through as a 3-2 record, the 4 teams that will be eliminated with a 1-3 record, and the 4 teams that will be eliminated with a 2-3 record.
During the group stage matches, there will be 6 teams that go straight through the playoffs (the 3 teams with a 2-0 record, and the 2 teams with a 2-1 record). However, the team with a 1-2 record and the best round differential will go through straight to the playoffs as well. The remaining two teams with a 1-2 record will face off in a BO1 to determine the final team that goes to the playoffs.
After those stages are complete, the tournament will go into a normal playoff stage with 8 teams.
