LAN IS BACK

Happy to announce that I'll be running an open signup CS:GO LAN in Feb 2022 hosted at Fortress Melbourne

For those unfamiliar, Fortress is located right in Melbourne CBD and has outstanding facilities. Their PC's are great quality and all monitors are at least 120hz (Most are 240hz). Players can bring their own peripherals and I will collect your config files beforehand. They have great food, plenty of beer to go around and an amazing space to hang around and reconnect with everyone after 2+ years since the last Melbourne CS:GO LAN.

Feb 12/13

$50/person Entry ($250 for the team)

$3000+ Prizepool distributed along the following percentages
1st: 50% ($1500+)
2nd 20% ($600+)
3rd/4th: 12.5% ($375+)
3rd/4th: 12.5% ($375+)
MVP: 5% ($150+)

Starting prizepool will likely be in excess of $3000, if I can get to 16 teams, we're looking more like a $5000 prizepool.

8-16 Team LAN
2-4 Groups of 4 teams participate in a round robin within their group, top 2 teams from each group proceed to Finals (There will be morning groups on the Saturday!!)

You must be fully vaccinated to attend

It's been a while since we had a finals predictions thread up and now that the brackets for Chal/Evo/Amateur/Open^* finals are up I figured I'd try to revive this old tradition. Thank you to all the teams that participated in this season^** and to those still alive in finals, good luck! <3

Scoring:

• Because you're required to submit results for the entire bracket before matches start, you get exponentially more points for games later in the bracket. (1 point for Rnd 1, 2 points for Rnd 2, 4 points for Rnd 3, etc)
• Challenger predictions are worth 4x the points Amateur is worth
• Evolution predictions are worth 2x the points Amateur is worth
