R6 Season 7 Announcement

Hello,

LPL will be holding 3 divisions again for R6 this season.

Season will start on May 14th running until July 2nd with the finals happening on the weekend of July 13th and 14th.

Challenger is again invite only. There will be a qualifier cup running on May 7th for the open place in the league.

We're excited to announce this season of R6 Challenger will be broadcast on Twitch out of LPL Studios in NZ.
You'll be able to watch live on Tuesday nights

Amateur
Amateur will be returning as well for teams to compete in. Again, needing a minimum of 12 teams to start and all players requiring a subscription in order to participate (https://letsplay.live/subscription/ ). Below is the prize pool for the Amateur season.

1st - $800
2nd - $550
3rd - $400
4th - $250

Total = $2000

Open
Open division will still be here as well. This division is a Free entry division and the top 3 teams winning a share of $250, as shown below.

1st - $125
2nd - $75
3rd - $50

Total = $250

PLEASE NOTE: Teams/Players may only compete in one division. Organisations may only have one team per division. CG-LPL Divisions Announcement

Hello,

After some discussion between LPL staff & CG staff, it has been decided to hold three divisions this season due to the number of teams signed up.

These divisions are Open, Amateur and Challenger. These will commence on the revised date of Feb 11th 2019, running until the 14th of April.
We have increased the prize pool from $3250 to $5800 to cater for the new division.

Challenger
Challenger places will be offered to the Grand Finalists of the Summer Series and the Top 4 teams from a series of qualifying matches held between Feb 4th and Feb 10th. All players requiring a subscription to CG in order to participate ( https://www.cybergamer.com/subscription/ ). Below is the prize pool we will be running with for the Challenger season.
1st - $1500 LPL Pro Invite
2nd- $1000 LPL Pro Invite
3rd-4th - $500

Total = $3500
To get in to the Challenger division, you must qualify here: https://www.cybergamer.com/tournaments/17594/

Amateur (formerly Silver)
Amateur will be returning as well for teams to compete in. Again, needing a minimum of 16 teams to start and all players requiring a subscription to CG in order to participate ( https://www.cybergamer.com/subscription/ ).
For Amateur, we will be spreading the prize pool out to the top 8 players as that will be the most populated division.
Below is the prize pool we will be running with for the Amateur season.

1st - $600 Challenger Invite
2nd - $500 Challenger Invite
3rd-4th - $300
5th-8th - $150

Total = $2300

Open
Open division will still be here as well. This division is a Free entry division and the top 3 teams winning a share of $250, as shown below.
