On a serious note, the demographic and culture of this community (high turnover, low baseline age, competitive nature) means that arguments, shitty topics, and abuse will always be prevalent. There's no 'golden bullet' to solve the problem, and other mods will know as well as I do that remaining eternally vigilant is an exhausting (and thankless) task.

Props to those who continue to mod - it's not easy, and particularly those who see the real meaning behind a post - finding the balance between humour, abuse, and contribution is a difficult one.

Also, the c-bomb. Is it really necessary in this forum? Might be getting old, but it's definitely overused by every chin ever.
