Ibra wont even be first choice striker anyway.

Quote from Johnny Drama on the 18th of July 2016

Don't see anyone else that would be. Rashford could but it'd take a rampage on his part for him to win the spot. No one else is close to being good enough to start up front for us. Especially Rooney.

I don't think he'll perform as well as some may think but Ibra scoring less than 10 would definitely be a surprise.

Imagine if they could get a Benzema

Quote from Avengers on the 16th of November 2015

No one is going to be touching Benzema aside from a 6 foot 7 behemoth in prison.

This sentence is beyond retarded.

Quote from MentalJack on the 18th of October 2015

Not really. If you consider the nature of the game now it wouldn't surprise me if they never return to the upper echelon and also stay there for a prolonged period of time.

It's not guaranteed that they spend at the levels of Barça, Real Madrid, PSG, United, City or even Bayern in the future. Nothing is impossible but they can't keep up financially with those clubs. Even with the new broadcasting deal. I don't know if they have it in them to be the next Atlético either.

That coupled with the fact they've attracted a top manager who could potentially attract big names?

Quote from MentalJack on the 18th of October 2015

Don't see that happening very often. If a player is a big name, chances are the clubs I've already mentioned are after them. There's other clubs as well that I've mentioned that are more attractive than Liverpool, even with Klopp. Klopp can't compensate that much.

The main thing that will dictate their future is how much they put in. I don't know if the current owners are willing to pull a City, Chelsea or PSG and massively overpay in order to compensate for the factors that make them a less attractive option. Just like those clubs did.

I wouldn't be surprised if they ascended and challenged for the league again as well as the Champions League - the main thing is them actually staying there. They could do but they'll just end up having to sell their next Suárez or Sterling. The bigger clubs will just raid them. Klopp has already had some experienced with this sort of thing.

I'd just be surprised if they returned to their peak and stayed there for a prolonged period of time, instead of just 2-3 years.
