Playing with ban

CG match bans are site wide, not game specific.
You've done something to warrant a CG ban not a CS:GO ban and as such you can't participate in any CG related activity.

What are the rules concerning players with VAC bans on their Steam accounts?

If the vac is from a cg supported game, they get a ban.
If it's not, the accumulation rule applies.

See https://www.cybergamer.com/anticheatpolicy/

Remember that vac bans can show for silly cheats such as ranking or mw2 private servers (back in the day)

Also idk why so much money is being invested into a studio if they host 4 lans a year there :/ why couldnt they just rent the studio for when needed.

Quote from Dasherk1d on the 24th of October 2017

it's used more than 4 times a year, and it's cheaper to rent the whole thing rather than rent a location each time you need to host a lan (which is how we used to do it)

I hired a builder to build my house and he couldn't keep up with the updates, - definitely my fault for not choosing a better builder and not putting enough thought into finding a certified builder.

Please learn to use proper examples before you make a fool of yourself.

Example:
You bought a car from a manufacturer that took a specific type of oil. 12 months later, that oil was no longer made so you couldn't service your car. Your fault for paying for the car? Must be, by your logic. Even though you had nothing to do with the build process or design choices.

CG didn't pay for EAC to be developed, they licensed the product for use each year. Completely different scenario, 0 control over how the product is developed. So it's blindingly obvious you don't know what you're talking about.
You might know about cheats, but you're clueless about anticheats otherwise you wouldn't be banned :)

You're delusional if you think that CG isn't working to find a solution that's going to fit the community. What, you think we've just stopped using EAC and sat on our hands? Of course we're looking out for other solutions. CG isn't made of money, we don't have a cool half a million lying around to begin development on an anticheat.
If you think it's just as easy as 'building one', you go do it.
And if you think we're just going to find 'just another' anticheat that breaks half the time and does nothing towards cheat detection like EAC, you're also delusional.

Good meme though!

I mean, you make so much money and with no anti-cheat to spend it on where's the money going huh? You could easily hire coders to build an anti-cheat.

thickest bloke AU, do you think before you speak or just dribble your shit everywhere?

Let me give you some insight from another thread:

When you've got a spare 2 or 3 million that you could invest over the next few years - hit us up.
It's not just a matter of finding an anticheat. If we wanted to do that, we'd just keep using EAC.
It's a matter of finding, or developing, one that works. There's not any out there to find, so let's talk about developing.
You'd need to get a seasoned team of developers who understand both Kernel level programming and exploits, and Game exploits. And not just understand to a minimal level. They'd need to be able to write and then maintain full time an anticheat that is constantly being updated to stop the latest bypass. To detect the latest cheat. Not all cheats just load pretty boxes over the screen and are easy to pick up. The anticheat would need to be tamper proof, constantly evolving to pick up the latest hacks, and bug free.
It would also need to be very invasive on your computer.

you're right - anyone who takes the game seriously wants the best anti cheat. But until someone invests the enormous amount of funds required, it's not going to happen like you want it to happen. Cheat makers are always going to have more money than anti-cheat makers, the anti-cheat funds need to come from somewhere kiddo.

EAC was in use for a while and slowly declined, the developers weren't keeping up with the demand. Not CG's fault.
So how do you expect CG to just magically make an anticheat out of thin air, if a paid one that's been around for years can't even manage to keep up?

Offer a proper solution before you open your mouth.and abuse people. You've been around less than 12 months, get a clue.

Weird activity in CG after the ban thread.

Could easily be a number of other factors too. They'd have a log of who viewed the thread on LC, and since your screenshot states the time at which you viewed the thread they could have linked it that way.

Could have been through other means too, such as details on your steam profile etc. These sorts of links are becoming easier these days
